A place on the course for every warrior

Through tee times and thoughtful check-ins, we link warriors in golf outings that heal minds, forge bonds, and celebrate resilience for vets, responders, and all who serve.

Houston-born. Built for everyday tee times—not elite clubhouse culture.

Our story

Warrior Golf Connect is a Houston-based 501(c)(3) public charity created for people who carry a heavy load—and need somewhere steady to set it down.

We believe golf can heal: the walk, the focus between shots, the quiet next to someone who gets it. We’re building a strong, trustworthy home for veterans, first responders, and community warriors—where accessible tee times open the door to camaraderie, and thoughtful check-ins keep connection going after the round.

We’re not a once-a-year spectacle. We’re the organization that helps warriors hit the links as part of real life—again and again—because healing compounds when people keep showing up for each other.

Who we serve

  • Veterans of every era and branch
  • Active-duty service members
  • First responders—police, fire, EMS
  • Community warriors: high-stress roles that rarely get the same spotlight, from nurses and EMTs to disaster-relief volunteers and teachers

If you serve others, there’s a place for you here.

How we’re different

Many warrior-golf programs center multi-day intensive camps or competitive leagues and tournament calendars. Warrior Golf Connect is built differently.

We prioritize everyday accessibility—routine tee times, welcoming outings, and lightweight check-ins that fit real schedules. The fairway comes before the leaderboard. Connection comes before competition. That’s how we help more warriors get on the course—and stay in community after they leave it.

What we do

Everyday tee times

Welcoming rounds that feel approachable, not exclusive—golf as connection, not a tryout.

Outings with room to heal

Fresh air, rhythm, and space to clear the mind between shots—alongside people who understand the weight you carry.

Camaraderie on the course

No warrior has to carry it alone. We gather so friendship can form in the fairway, not only in a meeting room.

Thoughtful check-ins

Friendship doesn’t end at the 18th hole. Brief, human follow-ups keep warriors linked between rounds.

Trips that mark the journey

From our monthly First Friday gatherings to destination experiences—including our American Dunes 2027 veteran trip—we’re building moments that celebrate resilience without requiring an elite handicap.

Monthly gathering

First Friday

Once a month, warriors and supporters gather at a welcoming course—wherever warriors gather, including host clubs that open their doors. We check in, share a meal, play nine relaxed holes, and close with an After Action Review—Three Ups, Three Downs. Golf is the vehicle. Connection is the point.

  • Show up Check in, grab a bite, meet the group.
  • Play Nine holes at an easy pace—conversation over score.
  • Reflect Three Ups, Three Downs. Share only what you choose.

Why golf

We don’t claim miracle cures. We do believe in what the course makes possible:

  • Focus that quiets the noise — the swing asks for presence; racing thoughts get less room.
  • Stress that eases outdoors — time in nature, movement, and a shared round can lift mood and restore rhythm.
  • Body and mind together — walking the course is steady, practical activity that supports whole-person wellness.
  • Belonging without pressure — golf gives warriors a natural way to stand side by side, talk when ready, and rebuild trust.
  • Confidence that travels — small wins on the green remind people they can still grow, recover, and lead.

That’s the impact we design for: healing minds, forging bonds, celebrating resilience—one tee time at a time.
